FAQs
What is the best way to remove stains from carpet?
Apply a quick action carpet spotter neat to the stain, working from the outside edge inward, then blot rather than rub to lift the mark without spreading it.
Can carpet stain removers be used on upholstery?
Yes, most professional formulas suit both carpets and upholstery. Pre-test on a hidden area first to check for colour transfer.
Are carpet spotters safe for wool carpets?
A pH neutral, wool safe spotter will not damage natural fibres, though a pre-test is still recommended.
Do carpet stain removers need to be diluted before use?
Ready to use, neat formulas are applied straight from the bottle, with no measuring or mixing required.
How do carpet stain removers prevent stains from returning?
A built in stain blocker leaves a protective residue on fibres, making it harder for soil to re-bond and reducing the chance of the stain reappearing.
