FAQs
- What is a rotary carpet shampooer used for? A rotary carpet shampooer uses a spinning brush and cleaning solution to scrub dirt from carpet, making it well suited to commercial spaces such as offices, hotels and aged care facilities.
- How does a carpet shampooer apply cleaning solution? A solution tank on the machine dispenses shampoo directly to the brush, so the carpet is cleaned as the brush scrubs.
- Why does a rotary scrubber have an offset motor? An offset motor counters start up torque, which improves balance, reduces operator fatigue and helps prevent kickback and surface burn.
- What size brush does a commercial carpet shampooer use? Many commercial rotary machines use a 40cm brush, which balances good coverage with easy control on carpet.
- Are commercial rotary carpet shampooers corded? Many are corded, and a long heavy duty lead of around 15 metres lets operators cover large rooms with fewer outlet changes.
